Our Team

Our staff is a group of kind, passionate, intelligent, talented, and fun individuals that really do enjoy spending time together when they are both in and out of the clinic. Get to know more about each member of the FCPAC team below!

 

Dr. Kurt Phillips

Owner and Veterinarian

Education
Butler University, B.S. in Biological Sciences, 1992
Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, 1996

Professional and Personal
Dr. Phillips has a special interest in canine reproduction and English Bulldogs. He is a married father of two. His family includes Jenner, a Vizsla and two cats, Lizzie and Spraguey.

When he is not working with animals and running his new record store, Square Cat Vinyl, Dr. Phillips loves to see live music and entertain guests in his home.

Dr. Jennifer Glore

Owner and Veterinarian

Education
University of Pennsylvania, B.S. in Biology, 1999
Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine 2003

Professional and Personal
Dr. Glore takes a special interest in cat health, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Her animal friends include Otis, a Doodleman Pinscher and a cat, Penelope.

In her free time, Dr. Glore likes to travel, play golf and ride in the Trader’s Point Hunt Club.

Dr. Stephanie Beeson

Veterinarian

Professional and Personal
Dr. Beeson’s special interests include behavioral medicine and pain management. She is a fear free certified practitioner and a Karen Pryor Certified trainer. She shares her home with her husband and two children. Her family includes two dogs, Rusty and Torchy, and two cats, Timmy and Kit Kat.

In her free time, Dr Beeson enjoys gardening, family bike rides and hikes, traveling, and playing Frisbee with her dogs.

 

 

Dr. Emma Ryan

Temporary Relief Veterinarian

Professional and Personal
Dr. Ryan’s special interests include dermatology, soft tissue and dental surgery. She shares her home with her husband, Dr. Alex Murphy, who is also a veterinarian and her cat, Hank. She also enjoys spending time with her horse, Theo. Dr. Ryan regularly competes in hunter/jumper competitions with Theo.

In her free time, Dr. Ryan enjoys art and loves coming up with new home improvement projects.

Stephanie Baer

Operations Manager

Indiana University, 2001 (BS in Criminal Justice)

Professional and Personal
Stephanie worked in the Criminal Justice field for over 20 years. Her jobs ranged from offering home based services, working in detention centers, being a probation officer, and running a medical records department for a treatment center. She decided to make a career change in order to pursue her love of animals and has been working for Dr. Kurt Phillips since 2012.

Stephanie and her husband, Will, share their home with their family of four cats: Gandalf the White, Dot, Nurgle J. Moose, and Pippen F. Took. They also have their beloved Great Dane, Jett, a rambunctious Beagle, Remi, and a Bichon named Buddy.

In Stephanie’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, training in martial arts, reading and playing the piano.

 

Ken Clarke

Ken moved to Indy in August of 2011, from Bloomington, IN, where he started his veterinary medicine career. He has two dogs: Augi, a French Bulldog, and Brooklin, a Boxer mix. He is interested in all things fitness and health.

Nicki Grider

Studied music at Milliken University

Nicki comes to Mass Ave Animal Clinic with over 12 years of veterinary experience. She has worked in a variety of positions and is very excited to be back in the veterinary industry.

Nicki lives in Beech Grove with her husband, Barney, daughter, Poppy, four dogs and two cats – it’s a full house! In her spare time, Nicki enjoys reading, watching Netflix, and playing and writing music.
